Texas Traffic Net Operations

Daily traffic handling and emergency frequency coordination across the Lone Star State. We route non-commercial messages with disciplined, traditional precision.

Signal Coordination

Active Net Frequencies

Our operators monitor designated HF bands daily. Tune in to these coordinated frequencies for traffic routing, signal reports, and emergency welfare traffic.

Primary HF Band

Alternate HF Band

Daily operations run on 3.873 MHz. This frequency serves as our primary channel for traffic handling and welfare routing across Texas.

When propagation challenges the primary band, we shift to 7.285 MHz to maintain reliable communications and continuous NTS compliance.

Clear Frequency

Monitor the frequency before transmitting. Ensure the Net Control Station has opened the session and is standing by for check-ins.

State your call sign clearly and indicate if you have emergency, priority, or routine welfare messages ready for routing.

Transmit messages using standard NTS-compliant formats. Confirm spelling of names and addresses with standard phonetics to prevent any routing errors.

Once your traffic is routed and acknowledged, return the frequency to Net Control and stand by for further coordination.
